USS

OK. I have found a podcast that isn't as interesting as some of the othersIi have read but I thought it was nice.

The USS is a program to help teachers form a better conectons online. The program teaches educators how to aplay online courses to further educate the students that can"t make the class for different reasons. It helps students that are pregnent or students that never finished high school. The programe has started in Florida and is heading throughout the states.

  1. This sounds like a really good program. It kind of reminds me of the commercial where the student is sick in the hospital but can still go to class by using that robot type things. The podcast you've picked seems like it'll be very interesting.

  3. I have to agree with Holly. This is a good program that would enable students with hardships to continue their education. Many times these students will end up giving up and dropping out of school because they fall so far behind and feel they cannot "catch up" to other students in their class. Another problem faced by these students is the possible embarrassment of failing a grade and having to repeat that grade with new faces and younger people. This program will save that embarrassment and possibly enable at risk students to achieve their education.

  4. I know this sounds repetitive but I have to agree with Holly and James. It is a great program that would allow the students who have droped out of school for what ever reason, a chance to finish their education without the fear of what other kids would think. I think it is a program that should be in every school.

  6. I like this program because I have a friend that was pregnant and went through a program like this in high school, that helped her graduate and it even helped her graduate early.
